I’m Ally Koudela and I’m the girl behind the camera.

For years I’ve contemplated becoming serious about starting a business doing something I love. 2024 just seemed like the right time to do it.

My style is earthy, easy, warm & natural. I want to capture you and yours just as you come. No extra frills or props or backgrounds, just you. My goal is to capture photos for you to look back on and think, "yeah, that was exactly what that season of life felt like."

A few things about me:

• I’m a full time working mom & wife, so I’ll be slamming an energy drink before our sessions.
• I have a dry sense of humor, and love a good dad joke.
• I think a cocktail or a beer to loosen up before your photos is a great idea.
• I’ve been taking photos as long as I can remember, so although I’m new to the photography business, I’m not new to being behind a camera.

some truths and a lie, you figure out which is the lie:

• We won a wedding from Busch Light
• I’m a graphic designer because I had an instructor in tech school see the talent in my little brain before I knew it was there. (In a photography class of all places)
• I got my job because my boss met me at a scholarship meet-n-greet at the tech school. No interview. No resume, just a “we could use someone like you”.
• I *almost* moved to Wisconsin to pursue more college, but decided to settle down with my sweetie instead
• I’m like, really good at roller skating. So much so, I received a full ride scholarship to that college in Wisconsin, but, again, decided to settle down instead.
• I love to garden like a little old retired lady. Sometimes I even find weeding a garden a little therapeutic.
• I spoke at my college commencement ceremony in front of thousands of people. I look back on that moment often and think “if I could do that, I can do this.”
• I’m an ordained Minister through the Universal Life Church. I’ve married three couple already, but who knows? You could be next!

Finally, bury me with my cannon camera, gold hoops, can of coke, white Cat Intruder sneakers, self-tanner, a good scuba tee, gel nail polish, a pic of Quinn, a big mama pickled sausage, and the keys to my 2008 Honda CRV. (RIP to my Honda CRV - still love that car)
